Tell me about a time when you had to analyze a large amount of data. What insights did you draw?

I once analyzed a massive dataset of user interactions on a social platform to identify engagement trends. By processing millions of posts and comments, I found that short, visual content posted during evening hours had 30% higher engagement rates. This led to recommendations for optimizing posting schedules and content formats.

How would you drive alignment amongst opinionated stakeholders for a project?
Product Manager

UiPath

Rovio

When I enter a project with stakeholders who have different opinions, I first focus on understanding their perspectives and the underlying reasons for their views. I make sure to listen actively and ask clarifying questions to fully grasp their objectives and concerns.

For example, during a product launch, I had stakeholders from sales who wanted to push the launch date forward to capitalize on a market opportunity, while the R&D team was concerned about product readiness. To resolve this, I gathered market research data showing the potential revenue increase if we met the original timeline, and I also worked closely with R&D to understand their concerns about product quality. Although there were some objections, I presented a compromise that would allow us to meet the market demand by focusing on a phased rollout. I used financial projections to show that an earlier launch would indeed bring a strong return, while also addressing the R&D team's concerns by proposing additional quality assurance checks before full-scale distribution. This data-driven approach helped us reach a consensus, allowing the launch to happen on time while maintaining product integrity.

Throughout the project, I kept everyone updated with regular communications and used metrics to track our progress against goals. This transparency helped maintain alignment, even when issues arose, and allowed us to quickly address concerns and stay on track.

I have an overall experience of 11 years in the fintech and healthcare industries. I started my journey as a front end developer for Banking and healthcare applications. I have been in a program manager role since 2018 managing healthcare and fintech projects. As part of the healthcare project, I was managing a patient health dashboard tracking application where I was collaborating with multiple crafts like engineering, creative design, product managers and external clients. As part of the fintech projects, I was working for the Lending verticals collaborating with product managers, engineering, and external partners.

D – Drivers

Coming from an academic background, my instinct was to write long, research-heavy product copy and brand content. I wanted to give customers all the cultural and historical context behind our products.

I – Impact

I got feedback from a mentor that while the storytelling was beautiful, it was overwhelming on a PDP. Customers were looking for clarity and benefits, and my copy wasn’t always easy to digest quickly.”

G – Growth

I took that feedback seriously and started treating brevity as a creative challenge — finding ways to say less with more impact. Over time, I actually came to enjoy it. It pushed me to sharpen language, highlight what really matters, and let the story support the product rather than overshadow it.

It mattered because I realized that even if the story is compelling, if it’s too long, people stop listening. The real skill is getting to the essence quickly — enough to hook people without overwhelming them. That shift has helped me write copy that actually converts and communicate in ways that keep teams engaged instead of tuned out.

During final stages of testing upgraded version of core banking applications, we encountered a defect which required resolution from development team. After dev deployed the defect, I had very limited time to thoroughly retest and perform regression.

My task was to perform retesting and make sure there are no major defects after the release.

After resolution, based on my prior knowledge of the apps I grouped those testcases that had a potential impact to run automation regression to speed up the testing. While I manually tested the defects with some edge case scenarios.

I kept the cross functional team updated about the testing progress and the risk involved if testing wasn't completed on time.

But, I was able to mitigate the risk of not completing the testing on time and major risk of unexpected issues with the help to prior knowledge and proactive communication.

Thus, I learnt from this incident to carefully strategizing the situation and collaborative approach can help to mitigate risks.

speak to them one on one first. Kind of get friendly. If you are close enough, you can just directly say it to them that it is time theft. but if you're not close to them, ask them why they come in late first to see if they have a valid reason or if they already pre-arranged it with the manager. If yes, then stop and apologize and just move on. if no, explain to them whatever

The accomplishment that I am most proud of is when my manager asked me to move to Malaysia to set up a new Factory and the Operations department in Kuala Lumpur.

It was my job to get all licenses and permits required to allow our factory to run under the country's regulations. I had to define the different roles needed like Product, Process, Quality, and Planning engineers. In addition, it was also my responsibility to manage the transfer of 3 different product lines from China to Malaysia.

To make that happen, I kicked off the project with the stakeholders to define the goals, budget, and plan for the opening of the new factory. I defined all milestones, and I collaborated with HR team to define the total HC needed, the different roles, the timeline for each incorporation, and the budget. With the Legal department, I worked closely to get the licenses and permits required for our company to operate in Malaysia. Together with the Operations team, I worked on the factory layout, material readiness, staff training, and the assembly lines transfer plan from China to Malaysia.

After 9 months of deep collaboration with cross-functional teams, I completed the project on time and within budget. It was a great learning opportunity that challenged my program management and leadership skills. Finally, the transfer resulted in a cost down of 5% for our customer in the products transferred to Malaysia.
