Quant UXR at Meta

This meeting was helpful to identify areas of strength and weakness. Focusing on the overall interview process, providing a Q&A session, and participating in mock responding was helpful. Helpful to meet with individuals directly knowledgeable about the interviewing process.    

The session was helpful, and you asked questions that were unique from ones that I had prepped for in advance, which allows me to do more targeted preparation before the onsite. I felt comfortable and the session felt conversational. The tips for what to focus on in place of academic examples for behavioral were helpful and appreciated. Overall it was good. The expert asked relevant questions and some were unique from what I had prepped based on looking at different forums, talking to my recruiter, etc. This will depend on the person, but my session didn't really feel like an interview, it felt more conversational and the internet connection wasn't great at a few time points. It feeling conversational could be a plus for some people and a minus for others if the onsite is more like an actual interview dynamic.

He asked me key questions that I should expect from a real interview, and focused on key questions in research design and data analysis. I was able to see where I still had weaknesses on and how to better prepare for the following days.
