The session was very helpful, especially with confidence in my ability to present my knowledge as it relates to sampling and statistical methods. You also shared helpful tips of areas to further strengthen, and I appreciate you taking the time to offer your insights in general (e.g., shifting from academia to a role at Meta). The only area for improvement would be to build in more hypotheticals related to what Meta indicated the screening interview for UX researcher would contain (i.e., hypotheticals based on an app of the candidate's choice). It would be helpful to see what kind of questions might be asked and how responses could be strengthened. Overall it was helpful, and I could tell the expert was experienced. However, for the role I am preparing for (Quantitative UX researcher at Meta) I know the screening interview will contain hypotheticals based on an app. There were no such questions in my mock interview. There were a few what if questions building off of what I described of a past project, but not related to an app or product. It mostly focused on straight sampling and statistical aspects and my experience with prior research in general, more demonstrating my knowledge on them rather than how I would react to a given hypothetical scenario. While that is helpful it is not a 1 to 1 preparation for the technical screening, which is what I was looking for. I would have liked practice with what type of hypotheticals I might be asked and how to strengthen responses as it relates to product sense.

After the mock interview, my interviewer shared very detailed comments as well as resources to check out afterward.  It was a great match between my needs and the interviewer. He was extremely knowledgeable with the area I am applying to. I also learned a lot about the company and position!

Thank you for the excellent mock interview.  I didn't think in advance I would be matched with someone that knew about the specific interview I may have.  Clearly I was wrong on this.  Your suggestion for how to prep additionally were very actionable.   The recruiter I've been talking to let me know this was going to be a merger between a UX research screen and a survey science screen.  I was under the impression that you wouldn't have someone that would match this, but you did and it was at the company I was interviewing for.  He was able to cue me in on the weak points of the interview and provide clear and actionable suggestions about how to better prep for the upcoming interview.  I would strongly recommend it.  I will likely come back to do more mock interviews with Prepfully if I get to the onsite.
