Think about running a Stafette, each runner needs to wait for a one to finish
the cycle before second one starts. So, this is a syncronous programming. Each
block waits an execution of previous one before the next starts.

Now, imagine running a Stafette, but other waiting runners are preparing,
warming up, stretching while first runner is running. This is asyncronous
programming.
While one block is being executed, another one can start doing things until it
waits on execution of the block.

Order management is an example. When a customer places an order , the system
shoudl generate and order number and update the inventory immediatly. This is a
must to have as a synchronous operation
