I would first conduct a traffic analysis to identify which topics generate the
most page views, which authors have the most views, and, finally, which article
attributes drive the most engagement. Based on the data, I would leverage the
80/20 rule and do a deep dive into the 20% of each of the above.

Since question-and-answer sites are a mature, saturated space, I would focus on
being niche and create a site that delivers more to users to differentiate
myself.

Ultimately, the site revenues will be driven by advertising. Since millennials
and Gen-Xers are the ones who spend the most online, as I pick my
differentiation strategy, my driving principle would be things that cater to
high-spend individuals who belong to this demographic. Since they are also
tech-savvy, I would also include in my differentiation strategy ways to
integrate popular platforms and formats on my site.
