Estimate the total internet bandwidth needed for a colony of 1,000 people living on the moon.

I have a lot of questions about what a colony of people are doing on the moon,
since I am not currently loving on the moon, nor do I have research about what
type of activities Lunarians are doing. I would break down this question into
what I need to know and how I would get the information.

First, I would research or ask people that have lived on moon how much data they
used on average. If they don't exist, then I would look for people that traveled
to the moon and see how much data they used on a daily or hourly basis, then I
would look for and/or ask the people who are going to be living on the moon
about any differences in the type of activities they were performing versus
someone who lives on the moon. If that information or data is too out of date, I
would reference the amount of data that people use on average that live in the
space station. I would take an average person per day and then multiply that by
1000 and make an assumption on time, since the question does not state the
length of time.
