What if a candidate cancels a session scheduled with me?

We'll let you know right away, of course.

We typically ask candidates to let us know of reschedules ~24 hours before the session. Therefore, we'll try to let you know as soon as we find out. It might sometimes take us a bit longer due to timezone differences. Since experts like yourself have the ability to accept sessions which are as close as 10 hours away, cancellations can sometimes occur in even shorter windows.

In rare situations, candidates have emergencies such as technical challenges or medical issues. This has happened less than 0.5% of the time until date. In this scenario, we might ask you to make an exception and reschedule a session last-minute, to accommodate their need. We do this in very limited circumstances, when we are convinced that the candidate truly cannot make it for the session.
