What if a candidate cancels a session scheduled with me?
We'll let you know right away, of course.
We typically ask candidates to let us know of reschedules ~24 hours before the session. Therefore, we'll try to let you know as soon as we find out. It might sometimes take us a bit longer due to timezone differences. Since experts like yourself have the ability to accept sessions which are as close as 1 hour away, cancellations can sometimes occur in even shorter windows.
In rare situations, candidates have emergencies such as technical challenges or medical issues. This has happened less than 0.5% of the time until date. In this scenario, we might ask you to make an exception and reschedule a session last-minute, to accommodate their need. We do this in very limited circumstances, when we are convinced that the candidate truly cannot make it for the session.
