I really appreciated my mentor who did a mock whiteboard interview with me a few days before the actual interview. My mentor conducted a whiteboard challenge that I never practiced with before but was actually a prompt that was currently used by the company. This person also gave me thorough feedback, great insights and answered all my questions patiently based on their previous experience and wisdom. I really appreciated this mock interview and know what areas I should possibly work on before the actual interview. The coach start by reviewing a general structure with me and asked about my approach. He provided some guidance and feedback and then we went into the mock interview. He was encouraging and guiding throughout the interview but only as much as I would expect a real interview to be. In the end he provided really good points on what I did well and what I should focus on in prep for my real interview. He was a really great balance of telling me what my strengths were and what I needed to work on! For the areas of focus, he provided very specific feedback and gave examples of his own which was super helpful.

I truly appreciate all the feedback I received today to reflect back on my portfolio and get it updated. Also, the reviewer made it so comfortable & worked with me though I had technical difficulties. All the feedback that I thought was very important, and now I'm more confident than before. I am def. want to review again with my today's reviewer if I make it to the final interviews.
