In addition to that, the expert gave me chance to practice the responses by applying the feedback she provided. I thought this was hugely helpful. My academic background is in mixed methods social science research, but I lack understanding of UX specifically. This helped to illuminate areas that I had weaknesses in terms of domain and content knowledge. I also tend to ramble and so it was extremely helpful to have structured formats for answering provided afterwards. I thought overall this was 100% worth it.
