Think about running a Stafette, each runner needs to wait for a one to finish
the cycle before second one starts. So, this is a syncronous programming. Each
block waits an execution of previous one before the next starts.

Now, imagine running a Stafette, but other waiting runners are preparing,
warming up, stretching while first runner is running. This is asyncronous
programming.
While one block is being executed, another one can start doing things until it
waits on execution of the block.

Synchronous is often single threaded process, where every action occurs one
after the other . in case of asynchronours programming, I/O bounds calls are
sent across different thread and while that operation is in program, the curretn
thread can work on /continue with other operations.
