In one project, I had to speed up a Python script that was processing a large
amount of log and event data. The first version was working fine for small data,
but when the dataset got bigger, it became too slow and started affecting the
whole workflow. I spent some time checking where the bottleneck was and found
that most of the time was going into repeated loops, unnecessary data copying,
and row-by-row processing.

To improve it, I first replaced some loops with more efficient data operations
using pandas and made the logic more vectorized. I also reduced duplicate
calculations by storing intermediate results instead of recalculating them again
and again. In one part, I changed the code to process data in chunks so it would
use less memory and stay stable with larger inputs. After that, the script
became much faster and easier to maintain.

I think this kind of approach would be useful for Amazon BI tasks as well,
because BI work often involves large datasets, reporting pipelines, and tight
performance expectations. I would focus on finding the slowest parts first,
optimizing the data flow, and making sure the solution is both fast and
reliable. For BI, that also means thinking about readability and scalability,
