  • Experience integrating data sources across a broad spectrum of systems (eg: ERP, MES, Shop Floor Automation, OSI Pi, etc.)
  • Experience with statistical analysis/data science
  • Bachelors in engineering or scientific discipline or extensive experience in data systems
  • Familiarity with HIVE or similar big data systems
  • Experience with MES architecture and automation system (SECS/GEM, OPC, etc.) communications

Interview Guide

The Facebook Data Analyst interview process follows a 3-step interview format. The interview process starts with an initial telephonic interview, called the initial screen, with a recruiter. Candidates who clear the initial screen are then set up for the hiring manager screen. The final stage of the interview process is called the onsite round. The onsite round comprises 4 one-on-one interviews, with a short lunch break in between. 

Initial Screen


The initial screen is a 30-45 minute telephonic interview with the recruiter. This is largely a familiarization interview where the recruiter tries to understand your professional interests and sees if it aligns with the role you have applied for. The recruiter may also ask a couple of technical questions in this round.

Onsite Round


The onsite interview is the final stage of the Facebook data analyst interview process. It consists of 4 one-on-one interviews, each around 30 minutes long. Two of these are technical interviews while the other two are behavioural interviews. These interviews would be conducted by a hiring manager, team manager, and developer (to determine your SQL and data analytics skills). There is a one-hour lunch break in between the interviews. The first technical interview will test your SQL skills. There will be a few theoretical questions to check your conceptual clarity on SQL. You will also get one or two SQL coding questions.
