Monitor only captures the valid transactions received on the interface and send these transactions to scoreboard through analysis port. However, There can be some minor processing which eases in communicating to scoreboard.
Scoreboard will capture the transactions from monitor through analysis port and further processes this transaction to predict the expected output from dut and compare the same with the output from dut
