I led the UX design for automated sandbox creation and management, significantly reducing manual migrations from months to minutes through agile development and cross-functional collaboration. The system enabled self-service management, simplified user access control, and provided a dynamic dashboard for clear sandbox oversight. Enhanced security and transparency were achieved through detailed logs and full visibility of sandbox changes. User research, stakeholder workshops, and iterative design processes ensured the solution met user needs. The project reduced environment sync time, empowered users to manage data privacy settings independently, and achieved a 60% adoption rate, saving the operations team 72 hours per week and $12,000 annually in baseline costs.

UX Case Study: Automated Sandbox Creation and Management for OneTrust
Project Ownership:
• Led the UX design for automated sandbox creation and management, supporting various modules and empowering over 300 clients.
• Achieved a reduction in manual migrations from months to minutes through agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Themes:
Effortless Sandbox Management:
• Self-Service Management: Enabled users to create and manage sandbox environments independently.
• User Provisioning & Access Management: Simplified control of user access to production and sandbox environments.
• Quick Sandbox Creation: Allowed swift development in isolated environments.
• Safe Deletion: Provided secure management of workspace by deleting outdated sandboxes.
• Dynamic Dashboard: Offered a clear overview of all sandboxes at a glance.
Enhanced Security and Control:
• Effortless Configuration Testing: Enabled testing changes without impacting production.
• Full Visibility: Tracked all changes made within sandbox environments.
• Transparency: Detailed logs ensured a clear understanding of every action within the sandbox.
Current State:
• OneTrust customers commonly have a production tenant and a UAT tenant in separate environments.
• 80-90% of customers copy data from production to UAT to ensure accurate testing.
• Collaboration with Cloud OPS revealed 70% of tickets related to aligning production with UAT.
• 300 clients supported this idea on the Ideas portal.
Sandbox Solution:
• Sandbox Creation: Newly created tenants in the same environment as production, containing a copy of production configuration data.
• Long-term Goal: Promote data from sandbox to production.
• Focus: Simplify deployment between production and sandbox environments.
Design Process:
1. Kickoff Workshops: Organized two workshops with stakeholders to gather perspectives, priorities, business goals, constraints, user insights, and prior research findings.
2. User Research: Conducted 10 moderated interviews to identify pain points in existing processes. Created user personas, journey maps, and prioritized critical features.
3. Market Research: Ensured alignment with industry standards and user expectations (ServiceNow & Salesforce).
4. Iterative Design: Crafted and prototyped high-fidelity solutions, incorporating weekly feedback from stakeholders (PM, Dev, Content Writer, Peers).
5. Consistency and Accessibility: Utilized OneCore design components and developed specific local components.
6. Feedback Integration: Facilitated feedback sessions, integrated customer input during Sandbox Private Preview, and implemented a survey system for continuous feedback.
7. Ongoing Support: Provided developer hand-off, ongoing UI enhancements, and addressed bugs.
8. Phase 2 in Progress: Includes promotion designs.
Customer Impact:
• Reduced Sync Time: Environment sync time reduced from months to minutes.
• Empowered Users: Users can test and configure data privacy settings independently.
• Improved Satisfaction: Satisfaction score improved to 7.2/9.
• High Adoption Rate: Achieved a 60% adoption rate, with 9 out of 15 modules adopting the new automated sandbox.
Potential Business Impact:
• Time Savings: Saved the operations team 72 hours per week through automation (28 consultants).
• Cost Savings: Customers save at least $12,000 annually on baseline costs.
• Streamlined Processes: Potentially eliminated the 2-month CloudOps queue backlog.
• Leadership Position: Positioned OneTrust as a leader in user-friendly and efficient data privacy solutions.

As a super development engineer, I successfully meet the KPi by conducting minimum 7supplier audit as listed in the workbook. I have to check the supplier availability, review supplier company profile and documents, the products records that supplier ship to my company to plan my audit question and agenda. After confirming, I will conduct the audit either remotely or in site as per agreed with management and supplier. during audit, I will review supplier company documents like procedure, the records, do the observation and interview with auditees. If there is any concerns, will highlight to auditees to discuss, to reach mutual understanding before making the finding decision. If the finding is firm, then have to communicate with supplier and get their agreement. The findings will require supplier to provide 8D capa report which will be captured in my company system.
