Equitable opportunities for every body, hire with out bias will be the philosophy.
When I hire, I look for good diverse representation in my team
Technical fitment would ofcourse take the top priority
I ensure there are no bias ( like candidate similar to me, candidate from certain region , ethnicity or background etc) involved during hiring.
Organization specific cultural fitment might be the 3rd aspect
To ensure that these tenets hold good while hiring, I involve trained interview panel so a collective feedback ensures the philosophy is held intact.
A bar raiser in the panel ensures a top talent is selected.
I would apply this philosophy in any organisation including Google, perhaps only difference would be to apply Google specific cultural lense while selecting the candidate
