When designing, there is often a range of caveats for any given solution.
Ideally, I try to ship the design option that solves the most problems for the
most users and stakeholders. To determine this, I hold regular meetings with
stakeholders (product partners, engineers, C-level sponsors) throughout the
design process to solicit feedback and ensure buy-in to the design solution. The
design solution that ships often gets people excited and bought in to take
action.
