One of the most challenging problems I worked on was digitizing our quoting
process. At the time, it relied heavily on manual steps and phone calls. Clients
had to contact the sales team just to size a product or request a quote, and
internally the workflow wasn’t scalable or consistent. This created operational
bottlenecks, accuracy issues, and a lot of inefficiency. We knew we needed a
more guided, self-service experience for both internal teams and customers.

My role was to design a CPQ experience that unified product configuration,
pricing, and quoting into one streamlined, end-to-end workflow.

To start, I mapped the entire journey from product sizing through final quote
delivery. I interviewed sales reps, channel partners, and engineers to
understand exactly where delays occurred, and I distributed surveys to capture
broader patterns and frustrations. Those conversations helped me understand not
just the workflow gaps, but also the relationship impact — how quoting speed and
accuracy shaped customer trust.

Using those insights, I redesigned the flow to be more intuitive. I refined the
microcopy for clarity, reorganized the information hierarchy, and simplified the
decision path. I also partnered closely with Sales to determine which
operational steps we could systemize — including establishing user tiers and
price fences, adding intelligent autocomplete, and enabling features like saving
or duplicating a quote.

After several rounds of validation with power users, we refined the UI to
account for model variations, edge cases, and error handling. Once the logic,
design, and business rules were aligned across teams, we deployed the CPQ system
as the new standardized quoting workflow.

After launch, we reduced quoting time by 32% and increased quote volume by 53%.
The CPQ became a core tool for regional teams and distributors, and for the
first time, our sales organization had a scalable, digitized workflow they could
rely on.

Current organisation i am working on project where we are monitoring air freight
rates  in logistic and to Shipper and suppliers need to negotiate their price
according to the competetive ness of the market for which they need a lot of
factors and I was putting into a dropdown so it was a very crucial button for
the page and project but where to place was the question. So i had a lot of
disaagrement and design challenge questions but at the end I proposed the idea
of creating a design report where we put all the feedback and why we are at a
certain decision and they hwlped a lot and collaboration became a lot more
stroger and with that we have less question on the design decisons,
