to Begin with — you need to take small finishable tasks in time the. Slowly build on it .
always communicate on what task you are working and be vocal about any roadbloack you see.. if there is a problem come up with possible solutions and what would be the way for you to solve.
At auctane , I had a key resource leave midfligt.. the product owners lost faith that my team could deliver the product .. I talked my manager and came up with a solution of loaning a resource from another team while I search for a replacement. In parallel.. called in a meeting with my product team - walked through the scenario of what is the approach we are taking to ensure that we can still deliver the product in time inspire of setbacks.
the lesson I have learnt is that stay calm, think through scarsious - build a consensus with your boss , involve the stake holder and then execute the plan.
