4.2Exceptional
When planning a project across multiple teams, my approach focuses on clear communication, setting shared goals, and ensuring alignment on key milestones. For example, in a previous project, I coordinated with cross-functional teams to deliver a product launch on time by holding regular alignment meetings and using project management tools to track progress and dependencies.
As an Engineering Manager (EM), my role would be to facilitate collaboration, remove blockers, and ensure resources are available. In a past role, I helped resolve a critical technical issue by connecting the team with the right expertise and streamlining communication. To maintain team morale, I’ve organized team-building activities like hackathons and offsite retreats, which fostered better collaboration and trust within the team. This helps create a positive and motivated environment, leading to greater productivity and innovation.

Driving alignmet accross multiple team require coordination , communication and clarity. as an EM we need to work on some of the areas for successfull cordination and delivery of the project.
1. Explain Goals: Explain golas to all the stake holders and team involved that why we ae doing this , how this is alligned with the companies long term goal and every team goal.
2. Define Ownership and responsibility : We need to set a clear boundries and define area of ownership so that each team is accountable for there peace of work. every team should operate inependently and can deploy there changes on there own.
3. Creating roadmap : Include other EM , tech lead and create a road map for the succesfull delivery of product and milestones to keep a track and organize scrm of scrum mettings to discuss them and encourage updates over slack and mail.
4.Involving teams : Its very important that every one should feel part of the project, all the design decisisions to be presented some time thorugh meeting or some time just through mail depending upon the severity and retrospection meeetings.
5. Unblock other team first : always try to unblock other teams by providing them the interface so that development become parallel not sequential
6.Stake holder communication : EM should act as abridge between stakeholders and project , stake holders should be comminucated about health of the project , blockers and delay in advance so that every one is on same page.
7. Celebration : Try ot celebrate milestone, important wins with the team by going out for team activities , giving kudos to people.
