Mission - Make the grocery shopping experience as friction free and fast as
possible

User segments & Pain points

a) Elderly - Online averse, go to the same stores due to trust, need a nudge to
try another store, effort to wait in long queues with issues with legs, need
help with having the right settings in the connected app or registering their
data at store etc. - Need human to help with locating items, setting things,
since we are planning to create a new store , not add technology in existing
store harder to convert etc.

b) Tech savvy population who loves fast and easy way to shop, need miminal human
help with locating what they want, how to pay etc. - Quickest to try as they do
not have much time, mainlky online users

c) University students , younger population who stay away from their homes, love
trying new and fast technology - Our segment for the store as they are tech
savvy, last minute planners who want quick easy access and need minimal human in
the loop intervention as they are impulse buyers, do not exp. a lot but have
mainly repeated purchases every week

Solution -

We will create a new contactless store where customers can enter and exit
without needing anything other than a face login at the app while entering. The
customers login to the store with FaceID, pick the things they want with
dedicated sections , (Grocery (F/V/D/E/M), Consumables. We have to make sure
that what they are paying is what they are picking like a vending machine. At
first we would want to have a inventory check to make sure we are handling
correct. Trust is key so we need to make sure we charge right and there is error
handling

KPIs - Acq. , reuse weekly, monthly

Guardrail metrics - error rate , CSAT, customer contacts

Risks - Theft we need to make sure we have practices in place to eliminate
thefts
